Letterform Archive Belongs to You: Become a Member Today

You are the heart of Letterform Archive.

Whether you follow us on Instagram, volunteer every week in the stacks, joined us for a tour or research visit, donated $10 or donated your own work — you make the Archive possible.

You gave over 500 students this year the ability to visit the Archive free of charge. You helped add tens of thousands of items to the collection by trusting us with your own material, or with your donations to acquire some of the most important artifacts of design. And you gave us the time and support to digitize 1,000 items from the collection (more on that in a second).

The Archive — and the Archive’s success — belongs to you.

That’s why we’re launching a membership program — so you can continue to make the Archive available to everyone and, in return, experience the Archive in an entirely new way: from anywhere.

Join Now for Something Extra Special

Charter Members get something extra special: Exclusive beta access to our new Online Archive.

For the last 15 months, we’ve been cataloging and photographing pieces from the Archive’s collection. We’ve also been working with some very talented developers and designers to make those items easily searchable and browsable. The result is extraordinary, and you’ll be the first to try it out. Read more about the Online Archive.

Charter members will be able to access the Online Archive before we launch to the general public next year.

Hurry though, Charter Membership is only open for a short time!

This is your chance to shape the future of the Archive — all while being able to explore the collection from anywhere.
