Letterform Archive is a nonprofit center for inspiration, education, & community in graphic design located in the Dogpatch. When we launched the Online Archive on April 7, we had no idea the venture would break part of the internet.

One month, two server crashes, and over 200,000 hits later, the free resource continues to grow into one of the most comprehensive online collections of typographic history, and a powerful tool for students and professional designers.

With the Online Archive reaching people all over the world, we want to join our global community to celebrate this special milestone and provide a backstage tour of highlights from the nearly 1,500 objects and 9,000 hi-fi images housed online.

Join us as our team chats with Designers and Educators who are putting the Online Archive into action!

Event Schedule:
  • 1:00 – 1:15 PM Introduction to the Online Archive
  • 1:15 – 2:15 PM 3 Presentations (20 min each)
  • 2:15 – 2:35 PM Breakout rooms with presenters and Letterform Archive team – time to explore the Online Archive yourself!
  • 2:35 – 3:00 PM Panel Q&A
Attend by Registering for your SF Design Week All-Access Pass
