Lettering as Composition

An in-depth 2 day workshop exploring the process of composing well balanced lettering layouts. Erik will discuss the principles of visual hierarchy, research and the importance of style selection. Students will be required to bring a 5-10 word phrase to develop. Techniques and critiques will teach students how to refine sketches into completed work. All skill levels welcome, knowledge of illustrator and photoshop is ideal.
