Typography is a keystone of graphic design, but mastering typographic skills can be a daunting task.

Fear no more, in this workshop you will acquire typographic skills on the micro level — you will learn how to look at typefaces, making good type selections, pairing typefaces, solving intricate typographic hierarchies and fine-tuning long passages of text.

You will learn how and when to use various kinds of dashes, get acquainted with OpenType features and master the glyph palette. Come learn how it can be useful to be slightly OCD! It will make you a better typographer.

  • Laptop with a version of InDesign CS4 or later
  • Tracing Paper
  • Pencil
