Online Core: So, ya wanna sell some type, eh?

This two-day business workshop—for the 2021 Online Core—aims to help type designers understand their industry and prepare to enter the market.

Your typeface is ready to use, now it just needs users. During this workshop with Dominic Stanley, a type designer with a business background, students will discover the tools they need to successfully sell their fonts.

Students will be introduced to business analysis tools which will allow them to research the type market and companies within the industry. Participants will also apply these analysis tools to their own business in preparation for entering the market.
