Explore the art of creating impactful headlines and expressive display typography
- Date
- Time
Building on foundational typography skills, this workshop explores how to choose, pair, and work with display type and text across print and digital media. You will learn to design expressive, effective headlines that communicate clearly while capturing attention.
We will discuss strategies for selecting typefaces that either harmonize with or contrast against body text. Through hands-on projects in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, you will create dynamic headline treatments using techniques such as layering, text effects, and custom letterforms. Throughout the workshop, we will balance creativity with clarity, ensuring that typographic treatments remain both visually engaging and cohesive within the overall design.
