In-Person Core: Transformative Technologies

In this ten-week section, we will examine both the limits and the possibilities offered by important technological innovations over the course of letterform history. Changes in technology, tools, and materials have historically resulted in transformations of scripts, typefaces, and letterforms.
Note: This workshop is only open to students enrolled in the Type West Certificate Program in Type Design.
