Andrea Leksen
Type design enthusiast and legibility evangelist, Andrea Leksen’s passion is typography. She currently contracts as a type designer for Microsoft, consults as an art director managing Amazon’s font program, and releases new fonts through her design firm, Leksen Design. With years of experience in design education and running a design firm, Andrea brings innovative thinking to a wide range of design and typographic challenges. She is in her element whether mentoring designers, collaborating with a team, or working solo for hours to find the perfect design solution. Font releases include Alascripty, Perrywood Script, Alasassy, Mr Gabe, Nordique, Nordeco, and Bemis. When she’s not creating fonts and keeping clients happy, you might find her dancing, sailing, gardening, playing the piano, or on a hiking adventure with her son.
