Archive Salon Series 07: Travel Ephemera

Join us for our Salon Series, where Letterform Archive staff invites you to experience materials related to a specific topic of interest to the collection.

Letterform Archive is a home for iconic work from well-known artists and designers, but a significant part of our collection is ephemera – the sort of everyday printed material that is often anonymous, but no less fascinating and well designed. Tânia Raposo, Type@Cooper West Coordinator and longtime Archive collaborator, has a soft spot for travel ephemera and has an impressive collection of her own. Spend an evening celebrating her favorite finds from the Archive, including beautiful and unusual maps, travel guides, luggage labels, and posters.

Doors at 6:00pm. Presentation begins promptly at 6:30pm.
