Type West Class of 2021 Graduation Ceremony and Typeface Reveal

Type West's Online Class of 2021 is graduating!

To accommodate the continuing saga of lives lived in lockdown, we inaugurated our first all-online program in 2021. Since launching Type West in 2018, this class was our largest and most diverse ever, with students attending from locations literally around the world.

From Poughkeepsie to Ho Chi Minh City, from San Jose to São Paulo, the talented designers of Type West's Class of 2021 watched and learned from global experts in type and its history.

Now we are thrilled to celebrate these students and their great type accomplishments and hope you’ll come celebrate online with us! Be the first to see the incredible original typefaces they’ve designed, learn about their process and motivation, and ask questions of them and their Type West instructors.
