Make Your Own Miniature: Letterform Holiday Café!

Design your own miniature holiday-themed café in this delightful in-person workshop. Over the course of six hours, miniaturist Tammie Knight will take you on a 1:12 design journey. As you create your own cafe, she will join you, sharing her process, tips, and tricks along the way.
To help you create this enchanting café, we'll provide your café walls, furniture kit, which includes contemporary furniture deisgned by Tammie, art supplies and tools, plus a plethora of deaccessioned materials from the Archive's own collection of letter-centric design. You'll need only bring yourself and your spirit of creativity!
A minimum of 10 participants must register for this workshop to run, so join in on the fun with a friend!

Tammie Knight
Tammie Knight is a miniaturist, designer, and Art Basel Miami 2022 featured artist with expertise in creating 1:12 scale structures from concept to construction. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, she incorporates this background into the aesthetic of her miniature projects.
Miniatures are the medium through which she crafts narratives that breathe life into the scenes she creates to tell stories, real and imagined. Throughout her miniature-making career, Tammie has produced over 1,500 miniature projects for clients, family, and friends. Recent clients include the San Francisco Museum of Craft & Design, Blackhouse Group for Prime Video, Google Arts & Culture, Sunday School Creative, Blythe Coffee of Oakland, and more.
