On view in Artistic Printing Creative Papers is a selection from two such dazzling promotions, issued by the famed Italian foundry Nebiolo. About Nebiolo
In 1878, Giovanni Nebiolo acquired a small type foundry in Turin and established Nebiolo & Co. as an ambitious manufacturer of printing presses. After consolidating many small foundries across Italy in the early 1900s, the company would later become the most important Italian type foundry of the twentieth century.
